How my data is displayed

Most content you can post on the site is visible to any/every other member - but there are some differences.  The page below lists the different places you can post content onto the site, and who can see it.

Nothing is visible to the general public, or to applicants who have not had their application approved.

Posts to the community forums

Anything you write in any post in the myLook forums will be visible to all other active members on the myLook site.  Your content will only be removed if you edit/remove it, or if a moderator does so.  If you attach pictures or files to your forum posts, they will also be visible to everybody.

Blogs

Any blog post you write will be visible to all active members in the community.  The same applies to any picture or file you attach to your blog posts.

Photos

Your photos are only visible to yourself and your friends.  The only exceptions to this are as follows, all of which may be visible to any active member:

• Pictures in your "Your profile pictures" album
• Pictures in your "Your fashion pics" album
• Pictures you attach to any blog or forum post

Fashion pics

All your Fashion Pics images are available to any member in the community.

Answers I give to polls

Overall results for all polls are visible to all active members.  However, your individual answers are only visible to myLook/New Look and are not available to site members.

Answers I give to surveys

Your individual answers are only visible to myLook/New Look and are not available to site members.  The only exception to this is where a nominated (text) question in a survey may have answers given to it automatically posted into a nominated forum in order to stimulate discussion on the topic at hand.  You will be informed if this is the case for any question where this happens.
